Hiya! Aye, I definitely need to do one of these on UBI. I have Rachel Swirsky's January the Fifteenth (sf novel about UBI) oozing up my TBR stack. But definitely "as a part of a suite of social welfare (as opposed to a replacement for it") is key, and then the question of how to lock that in in the long term!
